Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled began offering services in Western New York in 1989. Over 25 years later our Mission to provide each person we serve with person-centered, customized services that enable them to live their fullest life possible is stronger than ever. Community Services takes pride in supporting those who face unique challenges but are determined to become contributing members of their community. Our programs focus on getting to know each person’s personal goals and dreams, working with the person to create a plan to make them happen.
The Agency has grown tremendously over the years and currently employs 1000 incredibly talented people, some of whom also receive services. In 2015 Community Services was awarded a three year accreditation through The Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) which confirms that we share CQL’s vision for person-centered solutions to improve the quality of life for people receiving supports and services.
